Monthly Executive Boards
A business strategy workshop where members are trained using formal workbooks in key areas of business. This forces concentration on specific parts of their company. Members will analyse, in depth, the areas where their business is performing well or badly.
A mastermind where members get the opportunity to present a current business scenario / situation to their peers. The group will then give advice and feedback based on their experience. Members benefit from the experience of others. This process ensures that all options have been developed and critical mistakes are avoided early. Meetings are inspiring, helpful, uplifting, motivating, advising.

Having peers who hold you accountable for your decisions and actions is the most productive way to create change. The Alpha Group meetings are a place where CEO’s can turn to someone who understands the challenges they are facing, will always give you an unbiased opinion which in turn could save you so much time and money.
The goal of most companies is to increase the market value of your company and to become successful not right away sometimes. However, challenges and uncertainty are always part of long-term expansion and growth. About Gijs
Dutch from origin, French by life-adoption, citizen of the world. 51 years young, a beautiful wife and gremlin french bulldog. I live in France right between Rouen and Paris in Normandy.
After having served as a lifeguard and a swimming teacher at the local swimming pools during his puberty, Gijs did his Law studies at the Tilburg University in the Netherlands and worked at the same time as a Crewtrainer and Floor (shift) Manager at McDonald’s restaurants in Oosterhout and Geldermalsen.
At 24 years of age Gijs owned and managed a Ballroom Dancing School together with his wife and then opened two fitness clubs. In total a team of 90 employees worked at the different sites. Franchise holders for FitCare Wellness Clubs Nederland and LesMills Group Fitness.
When offered the opportunity of a buy-out, they took it, and moved to France to pursue life’s happiness and surprises.
As a law graduate, specializing in real estate law and business law, Gijs decided to work on the fun side of real estate : First an agent, then a licensed estate agent, two offices and managing a network of 35 independent agents throughout France, focusing on the incoming foreign buyer and investor.
Gijs picked up his studies in Paris at the ESSEC business school and the CNAM/ICH (L’institut de droit et d’économie appliqués à l’immobilier / The Institute of Law and Economics applied to Real Estate) and became a certified surveyor and set up his own Surveyor business in Rouen and Paris. He was also appointed as Court certified Expert at the High Court of Rouen (Expert de Justice).
At the invitation of the High Court he was certified as a sworn Court-Mediator, intervening in long drag-out court cases (Médiateur de Justice).
It is excellent for your ego to have a great track record but what you do with it in life and for your fellow human-beings is even more important :
In the meantime Gijs was totally involved in Lions International (“We Serve” as motto, largest service NGO in the world, 1,5m lions) as a Leadership Trainer and coordinator in the GLT (Lions Global Leadership Team), for France and worldwide, accompanying Lions International, clubs and members worldwide into the digital and Zoom age.
At this moment working with the french association PSYCONNECT to create accessible Centers for coaching and psychological assistance for those who need it but can’t afford it. Opening our first centers in Rouen and in Paris in 2023.
Always having been an educator, coach, trainer by heart, Gijs started a new track in life in 2022 as a Life & Business MasterCoach, sharing his experience, skills and stories with one and all.
As Regional Director in The-Alpha-Group for France he can finally combine his life’s worth of studies, experience, skills and more importantly his human skills, and offer it to others.
You, as a member of one of my Boards and/or as a Regional Director in our team, you will have the best of me and of your peers.
