Monthly Executive Boards
A business strategy workshop where members are trained using formal workbooks in key areas of business. This forces concentration on specific parts of their company. Members will analyse, in depth, the areas where their business is performing well or badly.
A mastermind where members get the opportunity to present a current business scenario / situation to their peers. The group will then give advice and feedback based on their experience. Members benefit from the experience of others. This process ensures that all options have been developed and critical mistakes are avoided early. Meetings are inspiring, helpful, uplifting, motivating, advising.
Group members are business executives from non-competing industries that have the knowledge and skills to help solve big business challenges. In a trusted and confidential setting, members grapple with the issues that can make or break a business. Members will share seasoned advice and expertise providing actionable suggestions and solutions that will empower the achievement of goals in business and personal life. Advice, ideas and suggestions flow freely in this confidential environment. The honest, unbiased feedback from board members who face similar problems and issues, helps to crystallize business vision and give confidence that decisions made are well researched and appropriate.

Service excellence is Mpho’s creed… “Service excellence transcends in all that she does, in her personal life, career and in her entrepreneurial journey.” While the services sector exists as an economic sector, service excellence is not only limited to this sector alone. It cuts across all economic sectors, all industries, small and large companies too.
Very few companies produce unique goods and services. Most businesses compete in producing similar goods or services, most of the time within remarkably comparable price ranges. Service excellence is what distinguishes some companies over others and makes them attractive to clients and customers. Whether you are in manufacturing, mining, agriculture, travel and tourism, IT or any industry, service excellence and its unique offerings may well be the difference between a flourishing, growing company and a stagnant and eventually a dying one.
This creed has helped Mpho distinguish herself in her career. She was able to jump start her career and obtained skills over the years working for one of South Africa’s top Banks as a banker, foreign exchange banker and rising to becoming a Personal private Banker at the bank’s private suite for its niche customers.
Thereafter, she joined the Travel and Tourism Industry and assumed a role in a Travel Management company –that had global affiliation; she joined as an Account manager initially and was opportuned to join the sales team as a National New Business Sales Manager and she eventually became a Strategic Account Manager overseeing a portfolio of global and local accounts whose turnover in business travel ranged from R20 mil - R250 mil per annum.
Her commendable client growth and retention rate led to her becoming a Divisional Executive: overseeing public sector account management division (strategy and leadership) in the company until she decided to focus on transitioning from corporate life to focus on family and with time, this resulted as a start to her entrepreneurial journey.
The various positions she had held, and the 19 years of experience acquired overtime has exposed her to Government and Private sector operations in terms of policy, legislative landscape, procedures, and regulations. She has developed values and skills which have taught her to be tenacious and she gained considerable experience in ensuring that she achieved set targets in the confines of different terms of references and Administrative and Operational Procedures. Through her leadership her team of account managers and her operational support nationally and globally developed and executed strategy to attract and retain public sector clients, which grew the public sector portfolio to it becoming the largest portfolio in turnover in the company.
Once again, service excellence was central to Mpho’s progression, and it is embedded in her overall personal career objective which is: “To uphold and represent any organisation’s Image, Vision and Mission and to contribute to making it the leading and trusted organisation globally. To equip myself with skills that can afford me more opportunities to grow and exceed my expectations exceptionally. To be able to grow and watch my efforts respected and appreciated by all. And finally, to be able to think strategically and successfully contribute to the dynamic world of any business or organization.”
Mpho recently joined the Alpha Group to provide a supportive system for small business owners and executives to develop and grow their businesses, once again with service excellence as a central theme. I believe that even in challenging times like this, when attracting clients is as difficult as it has ever been, what we deliver in our peer-to-peer executive boards with our structured workshop processes and through mastermind techniques will become a distinguishing element in assisting businesses to grow in value overtime.
Mpho is a family woman, a wife, and a mother, she graduated at the university of Botswana, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. There after obtained her PDGE the following year. In the span of career, she obtained an MDP through the University of Stellenbosch and upskilled herself with countless short courses of business acumen.
